Brandywine Bay – Post Florence Update #5
Good evening Brandywine,
For those of you traveling back to the area, we hope your travels went safely. As you can see, there is still a lot to do, but progress is continuing. Just a few quick notes to bring everyone up to speed on the latest:
1) There have been concerns about sewage-like odors around the neighborhood. We can assure you that the sewage collection and treatment system for the neighborhood is functioning properly, so the most likely culprit is just the ditch waters and sediments as they have gotten stagnant over the last couple of days. We would also like to mention, for those of you that make use of septic systems, to please give your system a look to ensure that it was not damaged by falling trees, heavy equipment, or other issues.
2) The Brandywine Community Yard Sale has been postponed due to the ongoing cleanup and recovery activities, and has been rescheduled for October 27th, rain or shine.
3) As was mentioned last night, the last date to put yard debris out to the curb is September 30th. After that it will be your responsibility to haul it away.

Please continue to be extremely careful as you drive or walk around the neighborhood, and please be sure to give the contractors picking up all of our debris as much space and time as they need to complete their work safely and efficiently. Thank you!
